Aargon Help
• The game shows me an "Unknown level pack" button, or the thumbnail screen is blank. What do I do?
This problem can almost always be solved by throwing away your Preferences file, which is called "com.redmarble.aargon.plist" and is located in the (Home)/Library/Preferences folder.
• I'm stuck! How can I get some help?
First, if you're playing the demo version, there are hints available online - click here.
Second, if you're playing the registered version, consider the hint guides. They're just $9.99, and offer both complete solutions to every level and a set of hints -- in words and pictures -- that range from small hints to big fat ones, so you can get just the amount of help you need. To view the list of hint guides available, click here.
• I bought a Hint Guide. How do I use it?
The Hint Guide is in two parts. First, you'll see a new button at the main level select screen that lets you choose solutions to each puzzle. When you see the "thumbnail" screen for these solved levels, you'll see a question mark rather than a small picture of the level. That's so that you don't see the full solution unless you really want to. Click on the question mark to see the level solution.
The hint guide, which contains only hints rather than full solutions, is an HTML document that you read in your browser (Safari, Internet Explorer, or another). Open the "index.html" page in your browser to get started.
